As Her Excellency Dr Samia Suluhu Hassan stepped into Chamwino State House, Dodoma, on February 1, 2025, she wasn’t just launching a project—she was igniting a lifeline for thousands.

The Jamii Salama Project (JSP), a partnership between JMKF and SC Johnson, is set to bring maternal and general healthcare closer to communities in Uyui and Sikonge.

At the heart of the event stood a miniature replica of the dispensaries to be built in Genge Sita and Ipembe villages—structures that promise 24/7 medical care, maternal health services, and community education.

As the President observed the built-in incinerators, she nodded approvingly. “This is exactly what all our healthcare facilities need—safety and sustainability in medical treatment,” she remarked.

With two project vehicles ready to roll out mobile ANC services, and dispensaries poised to serve over 36,000 people, healthcare access is no longer a distant dream—it’s here, it’s real, and it’s rolling forward.

With vision, commitment, and partnerships, Tanzania is proving that distance should never be a barrier to healthcare. JMKF, SC Johnson, and the government are making history—one village at a time.
